DiRT Rally 2.0 has received a new update today that adds some new liveries and force. Surprise DiRT Rally 2.0 receives new liveries and TRUEFORCE support. We covered the announcement last week about EA Play adding some of the Codemasters games to the service soon, per a few. For my own part, it feels mostly just as untapped potential and from what I have tested so far of WRC 10, this feels like WRC 9, with a little different lighting. Select Codemasters racing games available now on EA Play. My positive view of KT Games' attempt to catch up with the genre giant Dirt Rally 2.0 no longer feels ambitious and promising.

the thing with the WRC series is that they're released like a yearly sports title like FIFA or Madden. It's 20GB vs 100GB, with more than enough cars. DR 2 is hands down better than the WRC games, though they have gradually been improving year after year. Cars feel great, weighty and slide well with great audio. They've fixed the atrocious WRC 8 gamepad issues. This is the home of DiRT Rally on Reddit, and our real-life rally team competing in the Junior WRC 62.

But as KT Games gets ready to roll out its tenth and final official WRC game ( Dirt Rally studio Codemasters has bought the license now for the next ten years), I've tired of the worries that plagued previous games, worries that are included here as well. I think WRC 9 is better than DR 2 now for a number of reasons (WRC 8 was worse fwiw). Instead, they great asphalt physics, good friction simulation on gravel, a lot of very good tracks and the considerable amount of content made WRC 8 and WRC 9 stick with me. There is a video where rally racer Nikolai Gryazin (his car is in WRC 10) claims that WRC 9 is more realistic than Dirt Rally 2.0 interviews in Russian. The steering wheel support in these games has been quite gruesome and especially on the Fanatec side, the force feedback portion has been mediocre, at best. The cars in WRC10 are modelled slightly better than WRC9, but it's not night and day. I'm probably one of the few racing purists who has had the most patience with the KT Games' licensed series, and both WRC 8 and WRC 9 have been good racing titles, if you as a player have stuck to hand control only.
